- National public quality-control laboratories
In countries classified by the World Bank as low-income. Institutional applicants only; an official institutional e-mail address is required.
What is included
Up to 300 automated analyses per month, the full seven-section reports, at no charge, for as long as the eligibility holds.
Why
WHO estimates at least 1 in 10 medical products in low- and middle-income countries is substandard or falsified (estimate first published 2017). The capacity to check paperwork should not be concentrated where the problem is smallest.
How to apply
Applications are reviewed manually and answered within one week. We may ask for verification of institutional identity. We do not name participating institutions publicly without written permission.
