Public Health Access Program

PharmaTrust Public Health Access Program

Version 1.0, effective 28 August 2026

What this program is

PharmaTrust reserves free access to its automated Certificate of Analysis service for national government institutions responsible for medicine quality in the world’s low-income countries. Eligible institutions receive up to 200 automated analyses per calendar month at no charge, for as long as they remain eligible under these terms.

Who is eligible

  • A national medicines regulatory authority, ministry of health, or national public quality control laboratory.
  • Operating in a country currently classified by the World Bank as a low-income economy. Lower-middle-income and above do not qualify for this program.
  • Other national government bodies responsible for medicines quality assurance may also qualify, at PharmaTrust’s discretion.

This program is restricted to national government institutions. It is not available to commercial importers, distributors, wholesalers or manufacturers, to non-governmental organisations, or to academic or private institutions, in any country. Those organisations are welcome on PharmaTrust’s standard paid plans.

What is included

Up to 200 automated analyses per calendar month, using the same rule engine, the same reports and the same disclaimers as a paid subscription. Free access changes nothing about what a report says or how it is produced. The allowance does not roll over into the next month.

How to apply

Apply using the application form, giving an official government or institutional email address. You can also write to info@pharmatrust.tech from that address, or attach a signed letter on official letterhead confirming the applicant’s role. PharmaTrust aims to confirm eligibility within 10 business days.

Review and continued eligibility

Eligibility is reviewed every three months. Continued free access requires that the institution still meets the criteria above, that usage stays within the monthly allowance, and that the account is used by the qualifying institution itself rather than shared with, or resold to, any other organisation.

Changes to this program

PharmaTrust may change the monthly allowance, the eligibility criteria, or end the program, with at least 90 days’ notice to enrolled institutions. An institution may leave the program at any time.

No endorsement implied

Participation in this program is not an endorsement of PharmaTrust by the institution, nor an endorsement of the institution by PharmaTrust, and neither party will state or imply otherwise.

Relationship to the standard terms

This program sits alongside PharmaTrust’s standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply in full, including the statement that PharmaTrust does not replace the applicable pharmacopoeia and that a qualified person remains responsible for batch release decisions.
